Counsellor/Social Worker (FAM Tampines) Job Purpose You will be part of the team to provide casework and counselling services for families, with the goal for families to achieve healthy family functioning, and to deliver divorce support programmes and services to families who are affected by divorce, with the goal for families and their children to achieve stability and self-reliance. Roles and Responsibilities Casework & Counselling Part of the Intake & Triage Team to conduct intake assessments for new intakesto identify needs, strengths, and risks and make necessary referrals for clients. Conduct counselling for individuals, couples and families who are experiencing stress due to marital and family-related issues Conduct case management for clients and case conferences with stakeholders. Support Programme & Workshops Plan, review and facilitate groupwork intervention for parents and children. Facilitate premarital and divorce related programmes and workshops to help equip couples and parents with knowledge that enhance relationships and skills to cope with life transitions. Facilitate and supervised visitation access of divorcing/ divorced parents with their children and ensuring that the session carries on smoothly and safely for both the parent and children. Supervision Provide programme and/ or practice/clinical supervision to junior Counsellor/Social Worker and/or interns/Contract for Service Family Life Educators to ensure programme fidelity and quality service delivery Research & Practice Contribute to quality practice and professional matters in agency Engage in research to evaluate activities and identify service gaps. Facilitate internal training for team / service point Networking Support networking and advocacy sessions with partners and stakeholders Requirements Master Degree in Counselling OR Bachelor Degree in Social Work (preferably with a recognised certification in Counselling) At least 3 years of couple/family counselling experience Preferably accredited member of SASW or clinical member of SAC Comfortable in conflict management Able to work in multiple site Location: Tampines (East) Thank you for your interest and application.
