Overview Counselor III - Intern - Advanced Degree YOU, Inc., an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Counselor III – Intern to join our clinical team. This internship fulfills academic field placement requirements for graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in counseling, social work, or related fields. Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the intern will gain valuable experience providing therapeutic services, case management, and advocacy for diverse client populations. This is an unpaid internship. Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling under supervision. Conduct client intakes, assessments, and assist in developing treatment plans. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services. Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and training sessions. Assist with case management and referrals to community resources. Support clients in achieving mental health and wellness goals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions. Qualifications Education & Experience: Current enrollment in an accredited Master’s program in Counseling, Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field 0–3 years of related experience CANS certification preferred Valid Class C or D license required Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Commitment to diversity, equity, and trauma-informed care Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Why Join Us?
