New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit provider of outpatient substance use and mental health services. We deliver respectful, high-quality care that supports recovery and wellness across our communities. We’re hiring a full time Licensed Clinician (LSW or LAC) Counselor to support our Behavioral Health program for our Burlington (Mount Holly)Location. We use a trauma-informed approach that emphasizes: Emotional and physical safety Choice and shared decision-making Strengths-based goal setting Cultural humility and responsive care Collaboration and transparency What You’ll Do Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for mental health and substance use needs Develop person-centered treatment plans in partnership with clients Provide individual and group counseling (in-person and telehealth) Use evidence-informed practices (e.g., MI, CBT/DBT-informed skills, relapse prevention, coping skills) as appropriate Support clients with stress management, emotional regulation, recovery supports, and community resources Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and strengthen outcomes Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR in accordance with program standards and compliance requirements What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (accredited program) Active New Jersey licensure: LSW or LAC (required) Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care Strong clinical judgment, boundaries, and professionalism Comfortable managing a caseload independently while working collaboratively Proficiency with EMRs and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Preferred (not required): Experience in outpatient behavioral health, SUD treatment, co-occurring disorders, MAT/OTP settings, or community mental health Group facilitation experience Bilingual skills (Spanish/other languages) Benefits & Perks Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), including: Competitive medical, dental, and life insurance plans Employer-contributed 401K retirement plan Paid Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and dedicated training hours Ongoing professional development through Relias training programs Location & Schedule Mount Holly-Onsite Full-time; mix of in-person and telehealth based on program needs Location Mount Holly, New Jersey Department Clinical Employment Type Full-Time Minimum Experience Mid-level
