Description BASIC FUNCTION: Provides trauma informed, strengths based, recovery oriented treatment and counseling services to promote rehabilitation and client-centered interventions. Demonstrates professional competency by successfully engaging and treating clients to meet treatment goals. MAJOR DUTIES: Group and Individual Facilitation: Leading scheduled psychoeducational and process groups focusing on coping skills, relapse prevention, and emotional processing. Clinical Documentation: Completing detailed progress notes, session summaries, and tracking treatment plan goals. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinating with residential directors, nursing staff, and case managers to ensure continuity of care. Performs other duties as requested or assigned. Knowledge of substance abuse treatment including detoxification and withdrawal symptoms. Must be multi-culturally sensitive to the needs of clients in treatment. Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Word, and Uni/Care. Familiarity with the TC process.
