Description Provides individual, family, marriage and crisis intervention for children, adults, and families in need. Responsible for providing professional counseling services to a diverse population of clients including individual and family therapy to children and adults for a variety of mental health needs. Major Responsibilities Completes comprehensive assessment and formulates a diagnostic impression through conducting client and family interviews for the development of a treatment plan. Prepares an individualized treatment plan to include goals, interventions, and criteria for achievement. Evaluates client response to treatment and modifies treatment plan as needed. Conducts individual and family counseling sessions with clients. Documents counseling services in medical record that is audited by a supervisor on a regular basis to include clinical service notes, progress summaries, treatment plans, assessments, and other needed documentation to meet insurance requirements. Maintains regular communication verbally or in written form with client family members and other medical professionals on an as needed basis. Provides counseling services consistent with the established ethical standards of an LPC, LMFT, or LISW-CP in South Carolina. Perform other related duties as directed or assigned. Requirements Hold an active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) license in South Carolina. Professional customer service skills. Skill in written and verbal communication. Ability to multi-task, including skills in organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively. Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands. Ability to work effectively as a team member with other providers and other staff.
