As a Count Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of cash transactions within our world-class gaming operations. This physically demanding role works under constant camera and audio surveillance so a high attention to detail is crucial. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will lead with integrity, ensuring compliance in all aspects of your role. A few of your responsibilities * Collection of the drop boxes and note stackers from the gaming machines and table games * Sorting, counting and verifying the contents of the drop boxes and note stackers while maintaining accurate reports * Pre-shuffle and pre-check the new and recycled playing cards * Destruction of used gaming equipment (including playing cards) What are we looking for * Strong mathematical skills and aptitude for cash handling * Meticulous attention to detail * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism * Availability for early morning starts each day including weekends and public holidays (4am starts) Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Cashier Services department at The Star.
