Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Counter Assistant to join our team. As a Counter Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring smooth operations. Duties:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Process payments and provide change to customers
- Assist with food preparation
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide helpful recommendations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Assist with restocking inventory as needed
Experience:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and culinary terminology is beneficial

Pay: £10,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
