Description

Richelieu Glazing Supplies (Division of Richelieu Hardware) is currently seeking a Counter Sales Agent specializing in glazing hardware for our Surrey branch.
Working at the front desk, this person will manage orders for all customers, but specialize in an in-depth understanding of our door and glazing hardware. This person’s work will be instrumental in the growth of the product line within the branch and an essential team member.

Responsibilities

  • Providing team leadership by specializing in information on glass hardware.
  • Working with other specialists at the front counter to generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders.
  • Building solid, personal relationships with customers.
  • Understanding and interpreting technical requirements.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Pick showroom orders from warehouse when required.
  • Maintains store shelves by observing displays, restocking items, and providing optimum display of products.
  • Accepts ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the shower, window, railing, or other glazing hardware.
  • Knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Team player.
  • Can work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to absorb a lot of information quickly.
  • Good organizational skills.
