JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, managing transactions, and maintaining a well-organized sales area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail sales.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in retail sales environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base.
• Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within the team.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable items.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves effectively.
• Supervise junior staff as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in stock management.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries via phone.
• Foster a positive shopping experience through outstanding customer service.
