Job description The Counter Associate provides exceptional service and creates a positive shopping and sales experience for all customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Build and maintain business relationships with customers * Conduct sales transactions * Recommend and promote items related to customer’s product or application * Process customer returns efficiently * Assist in the warehouse when needed Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities * Exceptional customer service skills required and a team player * Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus * Familiar with dollies, pallet jacks and forklifts * Physical ability to lift heavy product of up to 50 lbs and utilize 6 ft ladder while carrying product Qualification High School diploma or GED equivalent Sales or related work experience desired HVAC experience a plus Schedule Full Time Monday through Friday Shift is based on business needs Salary Expectations Starting Rate Based on Experience Minimum starting rate of $19.00 hourly Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent Sales or related work experience desired HVAC experience a plus
