Position Summary: We are currently seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Belle Vernon, PA. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right products, placing orders, and offering product knowledge to ensure an excellent experience. Key Responsibilities: · Greet customers promptly and provide exceptional service. · Assist customers with product selection, technical questions, and recommendations to meet their project needs. · Process sales transactions accurately, including invoicing, payments, returns, and order entry. · Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for walk-in customers and phone orders. · Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively communicate features, applications, and benefits. · Support inventory management by stocking shelves, monitoring product levels, and communicating low-stock items. · Assist with receiving freight, organizing inventory, and maintaining an orderly and customer-friendly store environment. · Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and customer loyalty. · Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently. · Support store operations as needed, including answering phones, preparing orders, and assisting with general administrative tasks. · Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards at all times. Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent required. · Previous experience in retail, counter sales, customer service, or a similar role preferred. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to learn product knowledge and technical information related to automotive and industrial coatings. · Basic math skills with the ability to accurately process transactions and handle payments. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs as needed. · Proficiency in basic computer systems and point-of-sale systems preferred.
