Position Overview The Counter Sales Representative will assist customers in the showroom with purchasing, order pick-up, and providing product knowledge within the flooring industry. Branch: All Tile - CCS in Columbus, OH Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Essential Functions Customer Service * Greet and assist walk-in customers. * Provide product information, recommendations, and solutions based on customer needs. * Direct customers to appropriate products and displays. * Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails regarding products, pricing, and order information. * Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary. Sales * Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities. * Support sales representatives, customer care, and other departments as needed. * Process sales orders and quotes. Safety & Housekeeping * Follow OSHA and company safety regulations. * Use proper lifting techniques and material handling procedures. * Maintain showroom displays, product samples, and merchandising standards. * Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required. Education * High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree. Work Experience * 0-1 year of customer service, sales, and/or showroom experience. * Experience working with Point of Sales systems (POS). Physical Demand and Work Environment * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Basic math skills and reading comprehension skills. * Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching. * Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time. * Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance. * Legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

The Counter Sales Representative assists showroom customers with product selection, purchasing, and order pick-up. They are also responsible for processing quotes, managing phone and email inquiries, and maintaining showroom merchandising standards.
