POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a polished, customer-focused Sales Counter Associate to join our front-of-house team. This role is the face of our bakery café, providing guests with a warm welcome, expert product knowledge, and seamless service. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about food and hospitality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in hospitality, café, or luxury retail preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Passion for artisan food, coffee, and pastries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining grace under pressure.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to engage with customers effectively and provide excellent service.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered.

• Greet and assist guests with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on pastries, breads, cakes, and beverages.
• Handle sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and elegant presentation at the counter.
• Assist with packaging pastries, preparing to-go orders, and ensuring product quality.
• Support daily restocking and merchandising of display cases.
• Uphold café standards for cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience.
