Description Tague Lumber is seeking a friendly, motivated Counter Sales Representative to serve as the first point of contact at our Phoenixville location. As the “face of the company,” this role is essential in creating a positive first impression and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while supporting both in-person and phone sales. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional manner, matching products, services, and solutions to individual customer needs Build and maintain new business relationships while delivering excellent customer service Process sales orders accurately and efficiently Provide reliable product and order information to customers in person and over the phone Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-focused demeanor at all times Collaborate effectively with team members to support daily operations Utilize and learn point-of-sale (POS) system Requirements Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills Professional interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Knowledge of residential or commercial lumber and millwork sales is a plus Valid driver’s license required Ability to pass a drug screening, physical, and background check Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
