QUALIFICATIONS

. High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC-related coursework or certification is a plus.
. Previous experience in HVAC or a related field is preferred.

. Proficiency in computerized inventory and point-of-sale systems.
. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Greet and assist customers at the counter with product inquiries, orders, and returns.
. Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
. Answer phone inquiries and address customer needs promptly and professionally.
. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the company’s computerized systems.
. Prepare invoices, quotes, and purchase orders.
. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
. Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise.
. Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
. Rotate stock to ensure the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle is followed.
. Assist in replenishing stock and reordering inventory items as needed.
. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
. Prepare shipments for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
. Assist with loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
. Stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, and HVAC system components.
. Attend training sessions and product seminars to enhance product knowledge.
. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations.
. Assist colleagues during peak periods or when additional support is required.
