DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position may be required to perform additional tasks, responsibilities, or duties as assigned : Work schedule 8am - 5pm, one hour for lunch Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders Processing orders in the system Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock Consistent training and understanding of current products Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships Handling returns as required Keeping counter and sales area clean Merchandising and showcasing product Picking and packing orders Knowledge of a RF gun Order entry Knowledge of the Eclipse system SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Exceptional customer service skills Ability to develop long-term relationships and generate referrals from your customers Excellent communication skills Impeccable organizational skills with high attention to detail Time management & multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same time Strong networking skills, outgoing personality Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are considered an asset Knowledge of the Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an asset Preferred sales experience industry Final candidates will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
This role involves managing all counter sales and product returns, while simultaneously offering exceptional customer service both at the counter and over the phone. Responsibilities also include processing orders in the system, sourcing materials not in stock, and maintaining the cleanliness and merchandising of the sales area.
