Job Summary: The Counter Server at Dune Café is the face of the guest experience, responsible for crafting beautiful, made-to-order salads and smoothie bowls while delivering warm, attentive service. This role requires speed, precision, and a strong eye for presentation, ensuring each dish reflects the clean, vibrant aesthetic of our brand. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience * Welcome each guest with a polished, friendly, and approachable demeanor * Provide knowledgeable guidance on menu offerings, ingredients, and dietary accommodations * Create a seamless and elevated counter service experience reflective of a luxury coastal property Food Preparation & Presentation * Prepare salads and smoothie bowls to order with consistency and attention to detail * Execute recipes with precision while maintaining speed during high-volume periods * Ensure all items are presented with a clean, vibrant, and visually appealing finish Operational Excellence * Accurately input orders into Simphony POS and process payments efficiently * Maintain full station readiness, including prep of fruits, vegetables, grains, and toppings * Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management Cleanliness & Standards * Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards * Maintain a pristine and organized workstation at all times * Follow all health department regulations and internal SOPs Qualifications * Experience in a café, juice bar, or fast-casual environment preferred * Strong communication skills * Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting * Basic food preparation skills * Availability to work weekends, holidays and peak summer periods Preferred Attributes * Calm and solution-oriented under pressure * Strong sense of urgency with a guest-first mindset * Ability to anticipate needs and problem-solve proactively * Team-oriented with strong communication skills Pay Range and Compensation Package: * $17.00 per hour plus tips * Employee discounts on resort amenities and services. * Opportunities for career advancement within the resort. * Positive and dynamic team environment.
