Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Staff member to join our team at the La Capanna takeaway. The ideal candidate will assist in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the counter.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve food and beverages
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management abilities
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary terms
