What will I be doing? You will be using your expertise in knowledge management to support the Narcotics and Transnational Crime Support Center (NTC), aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing amongst analysts and organizations to enhance analytics production and efficiency. You will be supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and interagency partners in complex, multi-national, multi-faceted operations and investigations to counter narcotics trafficking, terrorism, money laundering, and other transnational organized crime. In this role, you will:

  • Use centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes
  • Support efforts in developing solutions to extract data from various sources, normalize data, analyze data and visualize data
  • Assist efforts to identify and document analytic standards, best practices and methodologies used by NTC
  • Develop or recommend automated approaches that save analysts time and effort and assist in the discovery of capabilities and datasets of benefit to NTC
  • Participate in and develop informal training for on-the-job, round table discussions, or brown bag sessions
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, lists, and libraries and troubleshoot technical issues with SharePoint users while maintaining proper access controls
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION DO I NEED?

You must meet the minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree relevant to the position, from a college or university accredited by a body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • At least 10 years of experience, with at least 3 years of specific knowledge management experience
  • OR: Prior military experience in a related field, with an additional 5 years of related experience, for a total of 17 years experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with US Law Enforcement (LE) and the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Able to perform web application software development utilizing multiple programming languages to include, but not limited to, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, and VB.NET
  • Experience in Microsoft SharePoint (SP) administration and design
  • Able to travel as required CONUS and OCONUS as required (must have valid U.S. Passport)
  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance, and be willing to take/pass a Counterintelligence-Scope Polygraph (CSP) if required
