Play a critical role in supporting democracy Enable critical election systems in a fast-paced environment About the Role The Counting and Results Support Officer assists in the implementation and coordination of counting and results processes for State and Local Government Elections. The role is also responsible for supporting the operation, trouble shooting and problem solving associated with multiple election systems deployed in the lead up to and during elections. These 2 roles are Temporary fulltime until 30 June 2027. The first role commences on 1 April 2026 and the second role on 1 July 2026. Operational and coordination experience in providing support in a high-volume high-pressure environment across a matrix organisation. Advanced computer skills and experience in, ie word processing, Excel, and database applications. Experience in user acceptance testing of systems. Experience in delivering training. Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners. Satisfactory criminal record check result.
