Your tasks

• Review and approval of the monthly financial reports, in particular the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and working capital
• Support of monthly and annual closing activities as well as analysis and validation of deviations in sales, costs and inventory.
• Close collaboration with shared service units to optimize and standardize reporting and accounting processes.
• Review and approval of balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring the timely clarification of overdue or open items.
• Ensuring the timely execution of management audits at the level of the respective company.
• Review and finalization of the annual financial statements and income tax returns prepared by Shared Services
• Management of external audits and monitoring of the timely and compliant submission of reports in the area of ​​indirect taxes.
• Leadership, motivation and development of an accounting team
• Building a performance-oriented team culture characterized by a sense of responsibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your profile

• Completed studies in the field of finance, accounting or a comparable subject
• Several years of professional experience in accounting or finance operations, ideally in an international or multinational industrial or manufacturing company.
• Solid knowledge in the management of profit and loss statements and balance sheets, as well as in the areas of financial reporting, statutory accounting and tax compliance.
• Proven experience in planning and conducting audits and in collaborating with external auditors
• Experience in collaborating with shared service centers and various international stakeholders
• Proficient use of ERP and/or accounting systems (ideally SAP) and very good Excel skills
• Fluent English skills; knowledge of other European languages ​​is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a structured and very meticulous work style.
• Leadership skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop teams.
