Description
Develop and execute the Dutch HSW strategy aligned with global direction, driving continuous improvement and stewardship of the HSW program. Program Management: Lead the design, implementation, and communication of HSW policies and initiatives, ensuring consistent application across business areas. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science). Over 5 + years of professional HSW experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within large, complex, multi-site organizations. Lead on the integration of wellbeing into country/regional health and safety programmes, particularly wellbeing risk assessment, wellbeing promotion, wellbeing advocates and wellbeing support In-depth knowledge of Dutch HSW legislation, ISO standards (45001/45003), and Safety Culture Ladder. Proven experience managing HSW teams and delivering national or regional strategies. Demonstrated expertise in risk management, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Organized, effective, and able to deliver outcomes in matrix environments. Proficiency in HSW management systems, data analytics, and digital reporting tools. Fluent in English (Dutch proficiency preferred). Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in HSW. Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 45003, Safety Culture Ladder, and all relevant Dutch legislation through audits and evaluations. Risk Management: Oversee risk assessment, supply chain HSW processes, incident investigations, crisis response, and business continuity planning. Performance Monitoring: Track HSW metrics, identify trends, report findings, and provide insights to business leaders and stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement: Provide expert input into HSW-related training, supporting staff engagement, wellbeing, and professional development.
