Description
About Noon We’re on a mission to radically change the way students learn. We started with a simple idea—access to the best teachers shouldn’t be a luxury, and learning should energize, not drain you. We believe in solving hard problems, and we play to win. After rapidly scaling to 28 schools in Saudi Arabia, 20+ in Pakistan and eyeing 100+ more, we are now taking our "School of the Future" model international. Syria is our next frontier. We are looking for a high-energy builder to plant the Noon flag and get our first school operational this year. Role Summary This is not a "desk job." As our first hire on the ground in Syria, you will be the face of Noon. You will navigate the local landscape, unlock doors that seem closed, and bridge the gap between our global vision and local reality. Your success will be measured by one thing: doors opening at our first Syrian campus in 2026. Responsibilities ● On-the-Ground Execution: Secure the physical sites, navigate local permits, and manage the logistics of setting up a physical school environment. ● Strategic Networking: Leverage existing connections within the Syrian educational and regulatory landscape to fast-track approvals and partnerships. ● Market Adaptation: Localize the Noon model to fit the Syrian context while maintaining our high global standards. ● GTM & Recruitment: Build the initial local team and execute grassroots student acquisition strategies. ● Commercial Ownership: Own the P&L for the Syria launch, managing budgets, local vendors, and revenue targets. 💻 What We’re Looking For ● The Connector: You are deeply "plugged in" within Syria. You know who to call to get things done. ● Bilingual Communicator: Native-level Arabic is a non-negotiable. You must also have conversational English to coordinate with our global HQ. ● The Hustler: You are young, energetic, and thrive in ambiguity. You don't wait for a manual; you write it. ● Experience: 3–5 years of experience in operations, startups, or project management. If you’ve launched a business or a large-scale project in Syria before, you’re our top candidate. ● Mission-Driven: You believe that Syrian students deserve world-class education and you’re willing to work tirelessly to give it to them. What You’ll Get ● Founding Status: The chance to lead a country launch from scratch with the backing of a well-funded, scaling unicorn. ● Mentorship: Direct access to our International Expansion leadership. ● Impact: The opportunity to redefine the educational landscape of Syria. Why work at Noon? Solving the Biggest Problem in Education: We’re addressing the most important and challenging issue in the sector—scaling star teachers and making learning fun. Innovation at a Global Scale: Noon leads in edtech innovation; we are not a copycat. We pioneer new ways to deliver world-class education. Solid Financial Footing: We have turned profitable and we’re well-funded. International Exposure: Join a dynamic, internationally diverse team that encourages personal development. Mission & Values Driven: We aim to provide equitable access to world-class education.
Responsibilities
The role involves executing the physical setup of a school in Syria, including securing sites, managing logistics, and navigating local permits. Additionally, the candidate will build a local team, manage the P&L, and execute student acquisition strategies to ensure the campus opens by 2026.
