POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Country Manager for Ductile Iron Pipes and Fittings is responsible for overseeing and managing all operations within a specific country. This role involves developing and executing business strategies, managing the local sales team, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. The Country Manager will work closely with the regional and global leadership teams to align country-specific strategies with the company’s overall objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (8-10 years) in a senior management role, preferably in the ductile iron pipes and fittings industry or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategies that drive growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the country as required.
  • Fluency in English is a Must, Arabic is a plus.

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the country to achieve revenue targets and market growth.

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the local sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment to retain top talent and drive team success.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the country office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage the country’s budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance metrics and provide regular reports to the regional and global leadership teams.
  • Implement measures to improve sales margins and overall financial performance.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute country-specific marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Develop marketing materials and sales tools tailored to the country’s market and customer segments.
  • Customer Focus:
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement in products and services.
