QUALIFICATIONS

BS technical degree or equivalent

  • 8+ years of above quota sales experience, and 3 years of Sales Management experience, preferably within the designated region
  • ‘Whatever it takes’ attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance
  • Ability to implement, manage, and hold sales resources accountable to sales process, forecast methodology and sales strategy
  • Strong Communication skills – Spanish and English
  • Proven track record of new business attainment
  • Experience in communicating with press
  • Ability to influence others to achieve results
  • Ability to lead, motivate, challenge and direct a workgroup
  • Mentoring/Coaching skills
  • Focus on the development of the sales channel, enhance the performance of the current distributors/VARs and extend the market coverage through additional partners
  • Demonstrated over-achievement of goals. Must be comfortable setting strategy, vision and priorities in a high tech environment for complex software products
  • Must be authorized to work in country of residence without sponsorship

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing leadership to an enterprise sales team toward achievement of assigned sales quotas and goals through partners located within a defined geographic territory in Northern Latin America, Central America, and the Caribbean
  • Contribute to increase Check Point awareness in the market place through direct contacts with Partners, Resellers, Large Accounts, and Technology Consultants
  • Ensure an active presence in Trade Shows and Check Point organized Seminars
  • Focus on the development of the sales channel, enhance the performance of the current distributors/VARs and extend the market coverage through additional partners
  • Responsibilities include sales administration, branch office management and budget control
