Are you a strategic, people-first commercial leader ready to take on your next big challenge? We’re looking for an inspiring and results-driven Country Director to expand our presence and impact in the DACH region.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 - 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, with a strong track record in enterprise and/or partner sales
  • Experience in a senior commercial leadership role, such as Sales Director or Commercial Lead, where you’ve built and guided successful teams
  • You are an inclusive, motivating leader who enjoys developing people and driving performance in fast-paced environments
  • You feel energized by creating clarity and structure in dynamic, high-growth settings
  • You communicate fluently in German (Native level) and English, with the ability to navigate different cultural contexts effectively
  • Based in Munich (or open to relocating) and willing to travel occasionally to our HQ in Aarhus
Responsibilities

Formalize is on a scaling journey with significant traction across Europe. You’ll be taking the lead in opening our brand-new Munich office, you’ll shape our market expansion and build a high-performing, cross-functional team across Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Marketing – your opportunity to take ownership and lead something special from the ground up.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Build and lead a collaborative and high-performing commercial team (Sales Development, Account Executives, Partner Management)
  • Own the full commercial agenda and P&L for the DACH region
  • Open and lead our new Munich office, becoming a cultural anchor for a purpose-driven team
  • Shape our go-to-market strategy, execution, and local presence from day one
  • Collaborate closely with our CRO and fellow international leaders to scale a values-driven business
  • Partner with global firms like PwC, BDO, and BearingPoint — and support customers such as Honda Bank, Crypto, Oberösterreichische Versicherung, ARD Gruppe, Almdudler, and Manner
