2. Job Responsibilities & Tasks (Duties include but are not limited to) • Regularly analyze the effectiveness of the sales operation to ensure proper distribution of the right products in the right channels and outlets. • Keep abreast of competition moves and trends in the FMCG industry specifically with new products and prices. • Act as the mentor in leading by example as well as coaching his/her team of sales managers in order to ensure business sustainability and proper succession. • Develop excellent relations with company distributors and assist them to provide quality service to customers. • Manage receivables to ensure they are kept at a minimum by proposing to distributors the appropriate credit and payment policies in view of market position and company policy. • Coordinate with HR to set career succession planning, development plans, training needs, skill lists, manpower requirements, appraisals for the team while pinpointing high potentials and performers. • Coordinate with HR to ensure that all business and company initiatives are implemented as per business plan requirements. • Update on a monthly basis the organigram of his/her department and report any changes to the HR department. • Coordinate with HR in hiring and managing out employees. • Review and evaluate sales versus forecast and competition movement and take corrective action. • Develop and implement incentive schemes. • Assist finance in establishing the credit limit for customers and discounts (trade & cash) based on market dynamics, production capacity of the factory & sales budget requirements. • Propose a sales department budget (sales incentives, volume rebate policy, events, gifts) and report any amendment to existing policies of the department. • Ensure proper sales and finance reporting as well as review meetings. • Ensure distribution targets are achieved and develop distribution expansion plans. • Coordinate with the Channel Marketing Manager on the marketing activities implementation. • Achieve the targeted coverage for the newly launched items within 75 days. • Complete the listing of the new items at the key customers within 1 month. • Make sure the product range availability per channel is implemented. 3. Required Job Qualifications & Competencies 4.1 Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration or marketing • A minimum of 5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar and related field. • Has managed teams for 3 years and above.
