Role Overview PIC, a Genus plc company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Courier Fleet Supervisor (remote). The position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of both company-employed and contract route drivers to ensure efficient, timely, and bio-secure delivery of shipments. This role requires strong leadership, attention to operational detail, and coordination across multiple teams—particularly Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service. The supervisor will also manage vehicle assets, oversee maintenance and repairs of company owned units, and ensure adherence to proper biosecurity and safety protocols for all drivers. This position is U.S. based remotely, preferable in IN, OH, KY or TN. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. You Will Driver & Fleet Management Supervise and schedule a mixed fleet of company and contract route drivers across both day and night routes. Ensure proper driver performance, route compliance, and adherence to company policies for biosecurity and safety standards. Conduct regular driver meetings, ride-along, and performance reviews to promote accountability and engagement. Manage driver recruitment, onboarding, and training, with emphasis on biosecurity, proper delivery procedures, and proactive communication. Asset & Maintenance Oversight Fleet management which will include, but not limited to, accurate fleet asset records, including vehicle assignment, service schedules, tracking, etc. Coordinate and document repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure vehicles remain in safe operating condition. Operational Efficiency & Route Optimization Analyze routes for efficiency, cost reduction, and service improvement. Use route planning and GPS tracking tools to optimize delivery performance. Monitor real-time shipment tracking, proactively addressing delays or route issues. (airline related, possibly UPS). Biosecurity & Compliance Enforce strict biosecurity measures in accordance with company and industry standards to prevent contamination or spread of disease. Ensure all drivers follow proper vehicle sanitation and cleanliness procedures before, during, and after deliveries. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service teams to align delivery operations with business needs and customer expectations. Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues and enhance service quality. Provide clear updates on delivery performance, route changes, and operational challenges. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Create and track key performance metrics including on-time delivery rates, delivery note accuracy, and costs metrics as needed. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service, safety, biosecurity, and cost effectiveness. Prepare ad hoc reports as needed or required. #LI-GL1 Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree required with preference to a degree in Logistics, Business Management, or related field. Relevant work experience in this field can also be considered equivalent to degree. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or courier operations, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory capacity. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Knowledge of route optimization software and GPS tracking systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Understanding of biosecurity, safety, and regulatory compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and logistics software. Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
