Responsibilities Transports specimens, supplies, parcels, and written communication between Health System divisions and throughout the Des Moines area while driving a licensed vehicle. Loads, unloads, and transports materials between the hospital and the Health System clients. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required but a commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred. Must be able to lift and carry 40lbs or more for a distance of 100 ft. Must be able to withstand extended periods of walking and driving.
Responsibilities
The courier is responsible for picking up and delivering medical specimens, supplies, and reports according to a prescribed schedule. This includes transporting materials between Health System divisions and clients throughout the Des Moines area.
