Description

Description Courier transports items between the clinics and hospital. The light mechanic performs general and preventative maintenance throughout the hospital and hospital owned off-site properties. Functions of the Position (not an exhaustive list): Deliver/pick-up mail and run errands as necessary. Deliver items between all clinics and hospital Assist with fire drills Maintain assigned mechanical rooms and work areas in a clean and orderly condition Answer phones and relay information as needed Assist with responding to all calls. Complete work orders for routine or emergency repairs. Complete repairs and document services rendered Complete required reports for each job assignment, detailing time and materials used for each completed task Requirements Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent, trade school preferred Clean driver's license and driving record Necessary Skills: Communications with vendors, staff, and customers Maintain strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations Familiarity with regulatory standards Physical Demands: Constant standing/walking Lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs. Push/pull heavy equipment up to 250 lbs Repetitive twisting and pressure involving hand and finger mobility Reaching at all levels Stooping, bending, kneeling, or crouching Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens Protective Equipment Required: Safety glasses Occasional use of rubber gloves or hearing protection PPE as required OR covering
