Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Courier & Office Assistant to join our team. This dynamic role combines administrative office support with courier duties to ensure the smooth operation of daily business functions. Candidates who enjoy building relationships, providing best-in-class customer service, and solving problems will be successful at PMB. • Paid time off, Generous Vacation policy (1 week after 90 days, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years), 8 Paid Holidays • Medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance. • 401(k) retirement savings plan with up to a 3% company match. • Competitive hourly pay based on skills and experience Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Make multiple daily pickups and deliveries to/from locations such as the post office, banks, intercompany locations, and other destinations as needed. • Pick up and transport parcels, packages, and deliverables (excluding personal items). • Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail; promptly identify and escalate emergency items to the appropriate department. • Handle time-sensitive and confidential materials with care and meet strict deadlines. • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies; order and distribute supplies as needed, taking advantage of sales when possible. • Organize, maintain, and update both physical and electronic filing systems. • Assist in keeping office common areas tidy and presentable; perform light housekeeping duties as needed. • Provide general administrative support and complete assigned office tasks. • Operate standard office equipment including copiers, scanners, phones, and computers. • Answer phone calls and emails, record information accurately, and provide assistance where necessary. • Interact positively and professionally with office staff and visitors. • Follow instructions and take direction from supervisors and colleagues. • Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation laws, safety procedures, and company policies. Requirements Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Previous administrative or courier experience preferred. • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to lift and transport packages up to 50 pounds. • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, document scanning, etc.). • Friendly, professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude. Work Environment & Physical Demands: • This position involves driving, lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods. • Work is split between an office setting and various off-site delivery/pickup locations. • Must pickup/deliver parcels in ALL weather conditions; rain, snow, extreme heat and cold.
