KIT Institute organizes training programmes for mid-career health professionals from various disciplinary backgrounds and nationalities for over 60 years and has an extensive alumni network with people from all over the world. Our flagship programme is the Amsterdam based Master of Public Health and health Equity (MPH-HE) programme; the MPH-HE is awarded by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) and is accredited by the Netherlands-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO). The MPH-HE is designed to develop the capacity of participants to use an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to address health problems in low and middle income settings.
KIT further organises 2-3 week specialisation courses on Health systems, Disease Control, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Epidemiology as well as twice a year a 3 month ‘Core Course for Public Health and Health Equity’ for Dutch and international students.
We seek an enthusiastic support officer for the role of course administrator for the educational programmes at KIT.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of training activities, ranging from registration and administration of participants to the actual preparation of the courses.
  • Implementation and completion of training activities, including all activities related to the implementation of the courses and trainings, including activities in the online learning environment.
  • Education administration and business operations, referring to the necessary administrative and secretarial support to key education team processes.
  • Marketing and Acquisition, ensuring the sustainability of the courses by assisting in the acquisition of new students, including (support to) marketing and communication.
