ABOUT US

Derma Institute is an internationally recognised aesthetics training academy, providing medical professionals with world-class training in Botox and dermal fillers. We deliver hands-on, practical training courses that prepare delegates with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to safely practice in aesthetics.
We are looking for a Course Coordinator / Runner to support our Winnipeg training courses one to two weekend per month. This is a key support role to ensure smooth running of the day, a welcoming environment for our delegates and models, and efficient communication with our management team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
  • Friendly and approachable manner with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Comfortable handling basic admin tasks (paperwork, payments, note-taking)
  • Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of PowerPoint/AV setup (preferred, not essential)
  • Experience in events, hospitality, or education support is an advantage
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will be the on-site point of contact for trainers, delegates, and models during our training days. You’ll assist with course setup, help the trainer with logistics, organise refreshments, and manage admin tasks such as handling model paperwork and payments.

Our training days typically run on weekends, with a schedule that includes:

  • Morning: Registration, welcome, and recap presentations
  • Midday: Lunch and networking discussions
  • Afternoon: Live practical injection sessions with models under trainer supervision

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Punctuality – Arrive on time and ensure the venue is set up and ready before delegates arrive.
  • Delegate Support – Welcome delegates on arrival, assist with registration, and create a friendly, professional environment.
  • Trainer Assistance – Support the trainer with presentation setup (slides, equipment, materials).
  • Lunch & Refreshments – Organise and ensure lunch/refreshments are ready on time.
  • Stock Management – Monitor consumables and training stock (needles, syringes, PPE, forms, etc.) and communicate with the Manager about required updates or replacements.
  • Model Coordination – Welcome models in the afternoon, guide them through filling out consent/paperwork, collect payments, and answer basic queries.
  • Record Keeping – Take clear notes of stock usage, payments, and any important updates for the Manager.
  • General Support – Be proactive in assisting with any additional needs on the day to ensure a smooth, professional course delivery.

ROLE DETAILS

  • Location: Winnipeg
  • Hours: One weekend per month (approx. 8:45am – 5:00pm, Sat & Sun depending on course schedule)
  • Commitment: Ongoing, part-time
  • Compensation: Competitive daily rate (to be discussed at interview)
