QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in qualification in developmental or educational psychology.
  • Demonstrated record of effective teaching performance at the post-secondary level
  • Knowledge of and experience in conducting school-based research or action research within the area of developmental, educational psychology, or related field.
  • Familiarity with research design, data collection, and analysis methods appropriate for practitioner inquiry and action research.

Preferred Qualifications / Assets:

  • Doctorate in Psychology (developmental, educational, or related field).
  • Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing (current or within the last five years).
  • Experience supporting teacher candidates or educators in applied research projects.
  • Experience teaching in online environments, including both asynchronous and synchronous formats.
  • Demonstrated use of innovative and effective approaches to online teaching and learning.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.
Candidates must be willing to undertake training as required by the Employer including, but not limited to, training in respect of health and safety, harassment and discrimination, and legislated service standards.
