QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
Master’s degree or equivalent in Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Education, or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated record of effective teaching experience in post-secondary or K–12 contexts.
Strong knowledge of learning theories, developmental processes, motivation, and inclusive pedagogies.
Familiarity with the principles of Universal Design for Learning, differentiated instruction, and classroom management.
Preferred Qualifications / Assets:
PhD or doctoral candidacy in Educational Psychology or a related field.
Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing.
Experience teaching or mentoring in teacher education programs.
Record of research or scholarly work related to learner development, inclusive education, or educational psychology.
Experience integrating evidence-based strategies to support diverse learners, including students with exceptionalities.
You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.
Candidates must be willing to undertake training as required by the Employer including, but not limited to, training in respect of health and safety, harassment and discrimination, and legislated service standards.
