QUALIFICATIONS

The preferred candidate will have a completed Ph.D. in Education (Curriculum) or equivalent with an emphasis on early childhood education and relevant to the course, demonstrated research capabilities in the early years (birth to age 8), thorough knowledge of relevant early years frameworks, teaching experience in child care, K-3 or other early childhood education settings, a critical approach to early childhood education, and previous experience working as a pedagogist. Previous graduate teaching is an asset. The successful applicant will bring academic and professional strength and collaborative abilities to the position.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.
Candidates must be willing to undertake training as required by the Employer including, but not limited to, training in respect of health and safety, harassment and discrimination, and legislated service standards.
