About the Role
Are you a passionate and innovative Art educator with a strong track record of inspiring creativity and achievement in young people? We are seeking a dynamic Course Leader - Art to lead and shape our BTEC and A Level Art provision.
As the Course Leader for Art, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery, and assessment of both BTEC Level 3 Art and Design and A Level Art courses. You will work with a team of dedicated teachers, ensure outstanding teaching and learning, and foster a stimulating creative environment that encourages student engagement and progression.

What You Will Do

  • Lead curriculum development and delivery for BTEC and A Level Art
  • Inspire and support students to achieve their highest potential
  • Monitor and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes
  • Manage coursework and assessment in line with awarding body requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-disciplinary creativity and enrichment
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives as a member of the wider leadership team

About You

  • A degree in Art, Fine Art, or related discipline
  • Experience teaching BTEC and/or A Level Art, with evidence of strong student outcomes
  • Proven ability to lead or coordinate a course (desirable)
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for creative education and a commitment to inclusive teaching
