MINIMUM EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 8 years of IT and/or business experience
  • PMP certification and/or Agile certification preferred

  • Technical expertise in Smartsheet project management tools and data analytics
  • Strong understanding of financial processes for high volume transaction driven systems and processes

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Courseware Project Management Lead oversees and manages enterprise and courseware-specific projects using established project management principles and practices. This position also develops and maintains the project management systems, structures, and SharePoint for the Courseware project management organization.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring integration across enterprise business units.
  • Develop and implement best practices for PMO standards, processes, and policies relating to the program/project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance and consistent use of the program/project standards processes, tools, and methodology.
  • Identify and monitor overall program costs, timing, and deliverables to ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Prepare detailed project plans and estimates for all project phases.
  • Set up data analytics dashboards and reports in support of stakeholder requirements.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing activities and transition from UAT to production environment.
  • Manage quality control ensuring business need interdependencies, risks, and issue resolution.
  • Manage project follow-up activities and assess performance to define any opportunities for improvement.
  • Capture customer feedback, lessons learned and recommend methods for increasing efficiencies.
  • Create and deliver presentations to senior executives that include project status, results, and metrics.
  • Provide input for emerging technologies, methods, and best practices to generate new opportunities for business operations.
  • Analyze trends in specific focus areas and recommend process/policy changes.
  • Create business transformation plans including change management requirements ensuring alignment with overall organization strategy.
  • Collaborate with Director of Training Products for Courseware/Standards, Director of Courseware Technology, and other stakeholders to improve internal and external customer experiences.
  • Travel of 20%+ is required for the position.
