Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Greets guest upon arrival at pool and beach facilities and band with the appropriate property identification. * Escorts guest to chaise lounge and provides pool and beach towels. * Informs guest of all activities that may be taken place in the resort. * Assists guest with food and beverage orders request and ensures that it is delivered in a timely manner. * Monitors pool and beach space to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures, and arranges for the removal of unruly guests, or non-property guest. * Assists with the rescue of distress persons, using rescue techniques and equipment. * Contacts emergency medical personnel in case of serious injury and reports all incident to pool manager, hotel manager, or pool director. * Completes record of all incidents, lost and found items, and daily weather conditions. * Assists in the day-to-day supervision of pool and beach attendants. * Assists in the setup, breakdown, and clean up, and emergency evacuation of pool and beach area. * Assists guest in making dinner and other reservations, or front desk procedures, with in the scoop of your LMS access. * Provides information about hotel, amenities, directions, island features as requested by the guest. * Assists in the maintaining of Reef condo owner guest history. * Ensures that pool, beach and towel huts are always maintained and well stocked with towels and other guest related amenities that the company offers. * Ensures knowledge of employee handbook, company rules and policies. * Keeps informed of shutdown and emergency evacuation procedures. * Ensures that pool and beach attendants are well informed of day-to-day information in the resort, and proper handover of information is conducted prior to leaving at the end of the shift, by completing all department reports. * Monitors all other departments within the Cascade’s pool and beach daily operation to ensure that they are meeting guest satisfactions, and company policies and standards. Reports all incidents to pool manager or pool director. * Attends meetings, training sessions and special functions as required. * Performs all other reasonable duties that may be assigned by manager to ensure the smooth operation of the department and resort. *   * The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.     Required Qualifications: * At a minimum must have completed High School with above average grades. * College degree preferred but not essential.  If college degree is not achieved the following qualification is essential. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service-related field, preferably the hospitality industry. * Proficiencies in the following computer applications: * Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Lodging Management System (LMS) * Proven ability to plan, organize and execute requests. * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work in a self-motivated environment with little supervision. * Ability to manage the administration of multiple tasks at one time.      
Responsibilities
The Cove Coordinator is responsible for supervising pool and beach operations while providing personalized service to guests. This includes ensuring safety, managing staff, and coordinating guest requests and reservations.
