Job Advert: Security Officer – Relief Cover
Location: The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital & Princess Royal Hospital
Pay: £12.50 per hour
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Security Officer to provide relief cover at our hospitals. You’ll play a key role in keeping patients, staff, and visitors safe while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Patrol hospital grounds and monitor CCTV.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents.
• Control access to the hospital and assist visitors.
• Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Keep accurate records and complete incident reports.

What We Need from You:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor license.
• Strong communication skills and a calm approach.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Physical fitness to respond to emergencies.
• Experience in healthcare security is a plus but not essential.
