AK Teaching are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to work within one of our partner schools based in Doncaster. The role is an immediate start and will initially start on a temporary basis, with an intention for the role to develop into a permanent position.
As a ‘Cover Supervisor’ you will be supervising and providing support to the students within the classroom, ensuring they complete the work and instructions that will be pre planned and set by the class teacher. You will need to be proactive and engaging with students, and will be responsible for managing the behaviour and safeguarding of the students.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working within schools or a similar/transferrable background is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain order and discipline in the classroom.
• Passionate about working with children
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
