Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.
• Provide support to students, answering questions and offering guidance where needed.
• Follow the school’s policies and procedures to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
• Work closely with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Supervise students during break times and assist with additional school duties where required.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting (teaching assistants, tutors, or youth workers encouraged to apply).
• Strong classroom management skills and the confidence to lead a class.
• A passion for education and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups.
• A relevant degree or teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
