Salary: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience & qualifications)

We work closely with high schools across Oldham who are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to deliver pre-prepared lessons, keep pupils engaged and motivated, and help maintain a positive learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support students in small groups or 1:1, helping them reach their full potential while supporting teachers in the classroom.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading classes with pre-set work when teachers are absent
• Supporting teachers with lessons and activities
• Working with students individually or in small groups
• Encouraging and inspiring pupils to stay on track with learning
• Being a positive role model within school life

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach
• Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
• A degree (preferred), Level 3 qualification, or school-based experience
• QTS preferred, however not required
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
