REQUIREMENTS

• No previous school experience required – full support provided.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence in leading a classroom setting.
• A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply – we can assist).
• Applicants with QTS are also encouraged to apply.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support schools across the Manchester area. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task, and maintaining a positive learning environment. It’s an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in education, teaching, or gaining school-based experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain engaged.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support students with their learning where needed.
• Adapt to different schools and year groups.
