To ensure all restaurant dishes, pots and pans are cleaned in a fast and consistent manner. Assists the supervisor and cooks in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the culinary department. Duties are but not limited to: Responsible for overseeing activities of non-cooking kitchen staff during shift. Ensures a safe and professional environment and monitors use of chemicals. Inspects kitchen, storeroom and walk-in refrigerators to ensure they are neat, clean and orderly. Cleans all restaurant and kitchen equipment, sinks, tables and drains in an orderly and consistent manner. Ensures the cleaning and sanitizing of all walk-in refrigerators. Maintains a clean and safe work area as directed by industry standards. Ensures that all floor mats, floors and walls are properly cleaned. Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills. Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate required. Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
