JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cowboy/Ranch Hand to join our team on a large cattle ranch in British Columbia’s South Central Interior. Strong horsemanship and livestock handling skills are essential. Experience in feed production, general farming, and mechanical work is considered an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver’s Licence required
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: $36,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Work Location: In perso

• Winter feeding and calving out assigned herd
• Livestock record-keeping, sorting, weaning, branding, shipping, and processing
• Construction, maintenance, and repair of all types of fencing to acceptable standards
• Maintenance and repair of fence-line feeders, gates, corrals, and livestock handling facilities
• General yard maintenance as needed and instructed
• Assisting with fieldwork, cropping, farming, irrigating, water management, haying, and other ranch chores
• General ranch duties
• Servicing and maintenance of ranch vehicles and equipment
