About the role We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced candidate to join our team on a casual basis as a Coxswain. This role primarily supports the onboard leadership by preparing the vessels for transportation, ensuring safe securing and departure, and maintaining the safety and comfort of guests while delivering high-quality service. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in enhancing the overall guest experience through attentive service and effective operations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with other crew members and the Master to facilitate smooth berthing. Perform tasks in adherence to safety procedures as per vessel Safety Management System (SMS). Conduct daily cleaning duties, including vessel cleaning and housekeeping. Engage in in-water rescue and maintain a lookout for guests. Safely manoeuvre small vessels as required. About you The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive 'can-do' attitude, competent deckhand skills, and confident vessel handling abilities. Having sound knowledge of marine/ tourism environment is highly desirable, along with a passion for delivering memorable experiences. To be successful in this role, you will be someone who: Focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a consistent professional presentation. Is confident in conducting deck rounds and safety drills while always ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Maintains vessel cleanliness through regular housekeeping duties while adhering to operational procedures and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
