Description This is a full-time, direct placement role at David J Ewan. Location: Knoxville or Oak Ridge, TN Your Role: Lead preparation and review of complex federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses Guide tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes Oversee junior staff/bookkeepers (future role expansion) and ensure adherence to firm standards Use QuickBooks (online & desktop), Microsoft tools, and other software to streamline workflows Maintain client relationships with a consultative approach Requirements Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with significant tax experience Expertise in tax planning, compliance, and software like QuickBooks and Microsoft tools Strong leadership and communication abilities
