JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to perform various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, as well as the ability to dig and manoeuvre materials efficiently and safely. The Excavator Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
  • A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting equipment when necessary.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in heavy machinery operation is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are required.
  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate is also essential.
