Description

Experienced in Consumer Packaged goods applications and processes, with a good expreience in his domain of expertise, especially in Automation and software architectures. Works in synergies with Global CPG leader and with Segment Marketing & Strategy to establish VoC, Solution offer strategy, solution roadmap requirements, solution offer definition, test, validatation, documention & implemention of CPG architectures or solutions. Interact and collaborate with the CPG Segment solution architect community. Supports major TVDA and CPG solutions as required. Qualified and experienced in CPG Process. The solution architect is responsible for adapting, promoting and supporting integrated, intelligent solutions for CPG customers to implement Schneider Electric strategy. The solution architect must possess the ability to build cross-business solutions while understanding the customer context, including all participants, processes, and requirements, as well as the technical complexity arising from the integration of numerous inter-connected components and sub-systems Solution expert with a strong knowledge of the target application, customer processes and Schneider Electric created solutions. The Local Solution Architect is an expert in this field with Schneider Electric customers & internally in terms of: Segment customer process knowledge Segment understanding Practical experience leading to in-depth customer understanding: 3-5 years’ experience in the targeted segment leading to a good knowledge of customer vocabulary, pain-points, expectations and deliverables System architecture methodology, starting from customer needs identification Technical background to understand customer problems & requirements, as well as Schneider Electric’s & the competition’s offers (engineering degree aligned with segment – mechanical, electrical, electronics & software) Solution technology (Global geographical standards, understanding of system problems, competitors) Communication skills and ability to influence and convince Internally to deal with Solution Architects and business units Externally to convince customers and standardisation institutions Ability to foster co-operation and animate a community Cross-cultural understanding of the different needs of a global community Qualified skills to create new documentation and reports that explain clearly and simply created segment solutions to other solution architects and customers High level English language skills in writing Knowledge & Capabilities Extensive knowledge & experience of targeted application, industry, standards & legislation Customer focus, listening and communication skills Process and Technical background to understand customer issues, as well as Schneider & competition offers (Engineering Degree aligned with Segment – Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Software ) Deep commercial and technical knowledge about the Segment system offer, and competent to use this knowledge Link the specific customer's needs to UVP's and killer apps of the segment solutions Identify limitations/constraints System architecture methodology, starting from customer needs identification Scope: Complete solution offer of the segment Understanding of the Application offer used inside the Segment Tested Validated and Documented Architectures (TVDAs) Value proposition, Killer Apps and their technical background Networks (Principles, connectivity, limitations, performance) Ability to foster cooperation and animate a community Ability to create documents and reports on a professional level Background / Experience Candidate must have relevant experience with customer applications within the desired segment and understand a wide scope of segment related systems and typical possibilities and limitations within the segment Minimum requirement for the position: Worked as a Technical engineer or application designer within desired segment for several years Practical experience leading to in depth customer understanding: 3-5 years experience in the targeted segment leading to a good knowledge of customer vocabulary, sore-points, expectations and deliverables Expertise in local region and global standards relevant for the desired segment Expertise in network communication Knowledge of the electrical distribution, automation offer, IT knowledge and related competitors & customers. Extensive knowledge & experience of targeted applications, industry, standards & legislation Preferably experience with Schneider Electric technology Preferably experience within a customer or channel partner from a target Process OEM or OEM application Qualifications Engineering degree or prolonged experience with technical education (engineering degree aligned with segment – mechanical, electrical, electronics & software) Language skills Local language: perfect verbal, written English: High Level verbal, written Communication skills to convince and influence all internal and external partners Experience in working in a global community with different cultural
